Meet Marla,
Your Certified Life Coach

After spending 26 rewarding and gratifying years as a school secretary for the TDSB (Toronto District School Board), working with youth aged 4-18, I've gained extensive experience, knowledge, and expertise with this age group and beyond.

Alongside my role with the TDSB, I successfully built Elegant Invitations, a business I started in 1996 and continued until 2018. During this venture, I not only crafted invitations, thank you notes, and other printed materials, but I also had the privilege of assisting families in various situations. I provided support and appropriate language tailored to each client's unique needs.

Through these experiences, I discovered my passion for personal coaching, which led me to become a certified life coach. My coaching abilities have since inspired me to embark on a new career path, where I can continue to make a positive impact on people's lives.

I am a life coach, not a licensed counsellor or therapist. Coaching consists of talking about the present, clarifying your intentions, designing goals, and taking action within a safe, supportive relationship and community. Coaching is not psychotherapy, does not seek to diagnose, nor should it be used as a substitute for treating mental health conditions.
